Discovery Green presents Children’s Discovery Series, a free, weekly, family-oriented performances each Saturday at 12noon. Saturday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Discovery Green, Houston Grand Opera and the Recipe for Success Foundation present Playing with your Food.

Food for Thought...or just for fun! You are invited to "play with your food!" and celebrate cultural traditions from around the world with story, song, food and art. Join Opera to Go! for two classic tales for kids about food: Hansel and Gretel (10 a.m.) and How Nanita Learned to make Flan (1 p.m.). Observe professional chefs as they create culinary masterpieces. Share a recipe and a family story as you discover the tastes that identify cultures and traditions from around the world.

Events will be scheduled throughout the day beginning at 10 a.m. Check back for schedule updates.
