BROTHER TADPOLE IS A BRAND NEW CHILDREN'S MUSICAL PERFORMED MOSTLY BY KIDS FROM TRAVIS ELEMENTARY IN THE HEIGHTS. THERE ARE ALSO LANIER STUDENTS AND A FEW FROM OTHER SCHOOLS ( total 25 CHILDREN). This show is fun and funky just like the Heights, where we live. All of the children participating are former or current students of the ALCHEMIST PIANO STUDIO in the Heights (Dr. Loreta Kovacic, director).

BROTHER TADPOLE started out as a series of cartoon books I created about the imaginary creatures who lived in the grand Balvaria. Many years later it became a series of songs about bunnies, cows, Cyclops, and subjects like peace or peaceful resolution of conflict. During the last year I have finally developed it into a musical. There will be hardworking cows and cute little bunnies, and fun loving cyclops, and many other incredible creatures all dancing and singing to this original music. The favorite of the 30 members cast (most of them children) is the CYCLOPS DANCE. Seeing the world through the cyclops eye can improve our lives.

Bring your imagination (and wear casual clothes) every Saturday in October from 12 noon to 2 pm.
