    Now celebrating the 15th anniversary season in Houston and 18th season since its inception in Brussels, Belgium, Dance Salad Festival promises another gathering of world-class performers. Famous in their own countries, the dance companies have won praise from critics and audiences wherever they have toured.

    Featuring: The Royal Ballet of Flanders, Antwerp, Belgium; Norwegian National Ballet, Oslo, Norway; Texas Ballet Theater, Texas;Ballet de Lorraine,Nancy, France; Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genéve, Switzerland; Hungarian National Ballet and Central Europe Dance Theatre, Budapest, Hungary; Compañia Nacional de Danza, Mexico City,Mexico; Jiri Kylián Toss of a Dice by Netherlands Dance Theatre, Netherlands;David Dawson's Faun(e), English National Ballet, London; Gelabert Azzopardi Companya de Dansa, Barcelona, Spain; Jacoby & Pronk, New York/Amsterdam;Gauthier Dance,Stuttgart, Germany!

    Throughout the week of the Festival there will also be master classes, from intermediate to advanced level, taught by Festival participants at diverse locations throughout the city.

    Co-Sponsored by Dance Salad Festival and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the 8th Annual Dance Salad Festival Choreographers' Forum: Conversation will take place Wednesday, March 31,2010 at 6:30pm in the MFAH’s Brown Auditorium, Caroline Wiess Law Building.

    FORMAT: Each company represented will perform each piece of choreography twice over the three days. At least 6 different companies will be performing each night with at least 8 different choreographic works presented.

    Attending 2 of the 3 evenings will ensure seeing all choreographic works presented in the Festival.

    A listing of each evening's performances will be available in March.
