    The G Gallery in the Heights presents the exhibition Blast India: Bari Kumar, Om Soorya,Laxman Aelay and Rahul Mitra.  Opening Reception Saturday December 5, 2009, Reception 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Show runs from December 5, 2009 thru December 24, 2009.

    Ggallery presents the first Contemporary Indian Art Show of four well known artists from India, Los Angeles and Houston. These artists, Bari Kumar, Om Soorya, Laxman Aelay and Rahul Mitra, are exploring the social and cultural complexities of Contemporary India using personal and political dialects. Bari Kumar and Rahul Mitra’s work reflects life experiences as artists from India and first generation immigrants to America, while Om Soorya’s work is timeless and surreal and Laxman Aelay’s work deals with the rural India.
