    The Menil Collection presents Two Gallery Talks: Maria Ines Sicardi, Combined Menil and MFAH Exhibition Tours, Thursday, November 12, 2009. 5:30 p.m. - Menil and 7 p.m. - MFAH.

    Maria Ines Sicardi (pictured) will conduct back-to-back tours of the two exhibitions Joaquín Torres-García: Constructing Abstraction with Wood at the Menil Collection and Joaquín Torres-García: Houston Collections at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Born and educated in Buenos Aires, Sicardi moved to Houston in 1989. Her Sicardi Gallery, founded in 1994, has organized over a hundred exhibitions by artists from South America and Mexico.

    Admission to both museum tours is free.
