Ovations presents Kat Edmonson, Friday, November 20.

A native of Houston, Kat Edmonson resides in Austin where she has been named “Austin’s Great Jazz Hope” by the Austin-American Statesman. Highlights from her recent touring schedule include a performance at the Jazz Standard in New York, an appearance at the Tanglewood Jazz Festival and multiple dates opening for Boz Scaggs.

Edmonson’s band will include producer and arranger Kevin Lovejoy on piano, JJ Johnson on drums, Daniel Durham on bass, and Ephraim Owens on trumpet and she will be performing material from her album, “Take To The Sky” which recently debuted at #21 on the Billboard Jazz Charts.
