The Alley Theatre presents their Young Performers Winter Studio, Three-day intensive workshops for kids and during the winter school break. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday Dec. 21-23, 2009 or Dec. 28-30, 2009 10:30am -2:30pm.

 CHILD’S PLAY (ages 3-6) Journey through the world of drama with your child and bring stories and fables to life. Explore the wonder of storytelling while sharing the magic of theatre with your child. Registration for this workshop includes one spot for a parent or guardian per child.

POLAR ADVENTURE (ages 7-9) Students in Polar Adventure will cultivate their imagination and collaboration skills by creating and performing their own made-up arctic action dilemma complete with polar bears, icebergs, snow people, and penguins.

STAGE FREEZE (ages 10-12) Relieve stage fright by improvising worst - case scenarios to share with others. Students in Stage Freeze will explore techniques for auditioning and performing to the best of their abilities. Participants will also gain practical skills in overcoming anxiety with breathing and stretching exercises.
