The Houston Arts Alliance along with the Acres Homes Community Development Corporation would like to invite you to the Community Tree & Artist Dedication for Artist Neighborhood Project recipient Tim Glover.

The Houston Arts Alliance along with the Acres Homes Community Development Corporation would like to invite you to the Community Tree & Artist Dedication for Artist Neighborhood Project recipient Tim Glover.

Tim created a figurative sculpture Community Tree with a base that mimics the boundaries of the Acres Homes community. The completed steel sculpture stands 15 feet high by 15 feet wide and is on view at the Acres Homes Multi-Service Center. Tim is a Cleveland native, but has been a Houstonian since 1986. He was selected out of 33 applicants to create an artwork for Acres Homes.

We would like to thank our community partners the Acres Homes Citizen Council, The Department of Health & Human Services, The Super Neighborhoods, Stephen Tinnermon, Council Member Jarvis Johnson & staff.
