The Rothko Chapel presents the 25th Annual Houston Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, Thursday, November 19, at 7PM.

For 25 years, members of different faith traditions have gathered together at the Rothko Chapel around the Thanksgiving holiday to share prayers and reflections with the greater Houston community. This year, leaders from the Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, Sikh and Zoroastrian traditions will offer reflections on the theme of "Liberty and Justice for All".

All are invited to attend. A reception with the faith leaders will follow the service.

The Rothko Chapel is a sacred space open to all to provide a place of worship, meditation, and prayer for persons of all faiths; to provide a forum for people to gather and explore spiritual bonds in common to all; to discuss human problems of worldwide interest; and to share a spiritual experience, each loyal to his or her belief, each respectful of the beliefs of others.

The Rothko Chapel is funded in part by private donations, as well as grants from Brown Foundation, Houston Endowment, Lannan Foundation and the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.
