The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston presents MFAH Gallery Conversations: Master Drawings, Saturday, December 12, 2:00 p.m. Presented by Dr. Dena M. Woodall, MFAH Assistant Curator, Prints & Drawings.  Meet in Lobby of the Audrey Jones Beck Building.

Ever wonder how curators go about building and enhancing museum collections? Join Dr. Dena M. Woodall, Assistant Curator of Prints and Drawings at the MFAH, as she leads a gallery talk in the small exhibition, Building the Master Drawings Collection at the MFAH, and discusses the museum´s new initiative to expand its collection of European master drawings. This exquisite group of chalk drawings, all figure studies, were created between the 16th and 18th centuries by Italian and French master draughtsmen.

Don´t miss this unique opportunity to view and discuss the drawings, which, due to their light sensitive materials, are rarely on display!

Admission is open to the public and free with general museum admission. Museum members always receive free admission. A reception to meet the speaker follows each program.
