    The John C. Freeman Weather Museum to Celebrate Groundhog Day Without a Groundhog.

    The John C. Freeman Weather Museum will celebrate Groundhog Day with the unveiling of its new animal forecaster who will look for its shadow and help predict how many weeks of winter are left. On Saturdays during the month of February, visitors will receive free admission if they can name the official Groundhog Day forecaster.

    Tuesday, February 2 event includes:

    Weatherquest contest!
    • Coloring sheets!
    • Wordfinds!
    • Popcorn and refreshments!
    • Come Dressed up as a groundhog for prizes!
    • Animals from the Houston Aquarium!
