    The Houston Museum of Natural Science presents the HMNS Symposium: Examining the Texas Coast, Thursday, January 21, 6 - 8:30 p.m.

    We are all familiar about the weather that affects our Gulf Coast, but you may not be as familiar with the other factors that are potential threats. Experts from varying fields will discuss the challenges facing our Gulf Coast region by examining our unique geology, significant history, and the necessity of making smart decisions to protect the future of our coast. Anthony Yanez from KPRC, Channel 2 will be our moderator for the evening. Following the program, all of the speakers will be available to sign copies of their latest books.

    Parking:

    Parking is available in our 6-story garage located on Caroline, just south of Hermann Drive. Parking is just $5 for museum patrons and $7 for all others. In addition, some curbside parking is available near the Museum entrance and in Hermann Park.
