Memorial High School Theatre presents 42nd Street!

Set on Broadway in the 1930's, "42nd Street" is a fast-moving tale about an aspiring young actress who arrives in New York City to break into show business. Cast as a chorus girl, she finds herself replacing the star of the show on opening night. Her director urges her "You're going out there a youngster but you've got to come back a star!"

In addition to thrilling dance numbers, fabulous sets, and beautiful costumes, the show features some of the most famous songs ever heard on a Broadway stage including, “The Lullaby of Broadway,” “We’re In The Money,” “Shuffle Off To Buffalo,” and the title song, “42nd Street."
