Don't miss the Crighton Players presentation of  The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas.  Music and Lyrics by: Carol Hall Book by: Larry L. King and Peter Masterson. Directed by: Larry Calhoun.  Performances Friday – Saturday @ 8:00 pm May 14-15, 21-22, 28-29, June 4-5 and Sunday Matinees @ 2pm May 23, 30, June 6.

This happy go lucky view of small town vice and statewide political side stepping recounts the good times and the demise of the Chicken Ranch, known since the 1850s as one of the better pleasure palaces in all of Texas. Governors, senators, mayors and even victorious college football teams frequent Miss Mona's cozy bordello until that puritan nemesis Watchdog focuses his television cameras and his righteous indignation on the institution.

A rolicking, bawdy musical, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” tells the true-to-life tale of a crusading television reporter’s efforts to close down a brothel and the sheriff caught in the middle,

“Utterly charming, lively and genial” – New York Daily News

“Humerous and good natured” – NY Post
