As part of the Great Southwest Lindyfest 2010, the Houston Swing Dance Society presents a Swing Dance Crash Course.
Are you interested in learning how to swing dance but just can't commit to going to weekly classes? The Houston Swing Dance Society is offering a special Beginner's Track crash course for people looking to start their journey into Swing Dance/Lindy Hop in conjunction with our annual Great Southwest Lindyfest Lindy Hop workshop. We'll start from the very beginning and teach you how to put the triple in your step. You'll also be treated to special visits from inspirational legends of the dance.
Registration is only $55 and includes 8 hours of instruction from award winning dancers, Jason and Chansin Esparza, at the Sheraton Hotel. Registration also includes admission to the Saturday evening dances where we'll have some amazing dance exhibitions plus live music by Jonathan Stout and his Campus Five.
