The Improv Comedy Showcase and Restaurant presents Bill Burr - The Uninformed Comedy Tour. On the heels of his critically-acclaimed hour Comedy Central special, CD & DVD, "Why Do I Do This?," Bill Burr stars in "The Uninformed Comedy Tour" featuring all-new material with special guest Joe DeRosa.

From a stance of uninformed logic Bill Burr's unapologetic style confronts the big subjects with a simplistic honesty that is as relatable as it is hilarious. Bill's first hour Comedy Central special, "Why Do I Do This?" premiered on August 31 to rave reviews and the "Why Do I Do This?" CD & DVD are in stores now. Bill hosts the Sirius XM radio show "Uninformed with Bill Burr and Joe DeRosa" and his "Monday Morning Podcast," an off-the-cuff weekly rant that has become a fan favorite, is available to play or download through his website or on iTunes.

Having first gained notoriety for his recurring role on the second season of "Chappelle's Show," Burr is a regular guest on the "Late Show with David Letterman," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "The Opie & Anthony Show." Bill starred in his own HBO "One Night Stand" and "Comedy Central Presents" half hour specials. His first CD, "Emotionally Unavailable: Expanded Edition," was released by What Are Records and he has performed on "Showtime at the Apollo," BET's "Comic View" and Jamie Foxx's "Laffapalooza."

Bill Burr is an American comedian or a comedian from the North American Union, depending on when you read this. He grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts and did fairly poorly in school, despite the fact that he applied himself. Having first gained notoriety for his reoccurring role on the second season of Chappelle’s Show, Burr has gone on to become a regular performer on the Late Show with David Letterman and to have his very own HBO Half Hour Special.

Bill’s most recent project was an hour-long comedy special entitled: “Why Do I Do This?” that aired on Comedy Central, and is now available in stores and on this web site. When in New York, Burr always performs on the Opie and Anthony Radio Show and eats at Ray’s Famous Pizza. Bill also co-hosts his own XM radio show, “Uninformed”, with fellow comedian Joe DeRosa.

Bill is against organized religion and believes we should go back to the gold standard for our currency. None of his opinions are based on any sort of reliable information. He tends to go with his first thought, because reading makes him sleepy. In the future Bill hopes to get married, have some kids, and get a dog. But until then, he will continue to spend most of his mid-afternoons sitting in his sweatpants learning AC/DC songs on his SG.
