The Houston Antique Dealers Association (HADA) presents the HADA 2010 Spring Antiques Show & Sale. The Spring Show will take place from March 5 - 7, 2010 at the renowned George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.

At Hada we are thrilled to begin the preparations for the Antiques Spring Show 2010. We are proud to be the oldest antiques show in the country; hosting in Houston more than 150 prominent dealers from around the world since1964 As we get underway this year, we are also very excited about some new additions we have planned. Top designers from our friends at ASID will feature an “Ask a designer” booth. On our website, the general public can schedule a free consultation with the design team, as well as visit the many booths displaying an amazing range of antiques and art.

We are expecting a great turnout and look forward to bringing together again the very best in world class dealers, collectors and design & antiques enthusiasts.

Our mission is to encourage and promote the highest standards for antique dealers. Since 1964, HADA’s primary objective has been to sponsor a show that would bring quality dealers to Houston and create a vehicle for providing support to local charities.  Each year a portion of the ticket sales is donated to support many of Houston’s worthiest causes. We also promote education through our ongoing lecture series.

HADA is one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the nation. Founded in 1964 by three local dealers, the first HADA antiques show was held at the famous Shamrock Hilton Hotel. An instant success, the growing number of exhibitors dictated the show moving to the Albert Thomas Convention Center and eventually to the George R. Brown Convention Center.

The show now consists of close to 170 dealers from across the country and around the world displaying virtually every type of antique.  A variety of foods and desserts are planned.
