The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston presents An American Season Valentine's Day Street Festival at the MFAH, Sunday, Feb 14, 2010 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, at the Audrey Jones Beck Building.

The MFAH and Sunny 99.1 celebrate the opening of three exhibitions—Sargent and the Sea, Houston´s Sargents, and Prendergast in Italy—with a Valentine´s Day Street Festival. The fun starts at 1:00 p.m. on the porte cochere of the Beck Building.

Bring your loved ones and indulge your passion for art! Enjoy strolling musicians, guided tours with themes of romance, and complimentary coffee and bites from Cafe Express. Families can participate in art-making, watercolor-artist demonstrations, sketching in the galleries, and jewelry-making.

The festivities also include samplings of wine, Italian sodas, beer, and root beer; flowers by Jonathan Andrew Sage; and a tarot-card reader. Plan to stay and catch a film in Brown Auditorium Theater. Special thanks go out to St. Arnold´s Brewery, Serendipity Wines, the Art League of Houston, and the Glassell School of Art.
