The music and private life of great Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev (1891-1953) remains shrouded in mystery. He fled Russia shortly after 1917 October Revolution. And in 1936 the composer made a stunning decision to return to his motherland. This film examines the defining period in the life of Prokofiev: the years spent outside of Russia.

The movie has received Special Jury Award at 42th International Houston Film Festival.
