The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told
March 5-March 28, 2010

Unhinged Productions presents The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Paul Rudnick's Broadway smash about the hilarious retelling of The Old Testament by the original couple — Adam and Steve, as well as their friends Jane and Mabel. March 5th-28th at the Frenetic Theater.
THE MOST FABULOUS STORY EVER TOLD presents scenes from the Bible from a flamboyantly gay perspective, beginning with Adam and Steve in the Garden of Eden. After being banished from Eden, they encounter Jane and Mabel, who insist that they were the earth's original couple. Together the quartet survives the centuries, including time on the Ark during the Flood years, slavery in Egypt ruled by a supremely effete Pharoah, and life in contemporary New York.
Director Dennis Draper's campy Southern Baptist sensibility should blend and sparkle.
"Fabulous and funny....Features something to offend every religious persuasion - with its Jewish Menorah atop a Christmas tree.....references to Buddha, and lines like 'Angels are just Prozac for poor people' or 'We don't have children - we have taste'. You will find yourself laughing uncontrollably throughout the evening." - DAVID KAUFMAN New York Daily News
