the Red Door Theatre Company presents The Debutante Girl,  by Josh Jordan, March 11- March 21.

Iris Van Buren and Azalea James Meridian-Bramble have been friends since they attended junior high at St. John the Apostle, an elite private school. Iris dreams of studying art history while Azalea desires to take over her father's multi-national shipping company. Their mundane yet profitable worlds seem to collide when Iris' newlywed husband Bo, is found dead. Red cake, shipping routes, and dead siblings lead Iris to desperate measures as she reels from the death of her love and the complacency of a heart-of-darkness.

The Debutante Girl explores the theme of human duplicity in a world where all that glitters isn't gold.
