Country Playhouse presents the 2010 New Play Reading Series - Country Playhouse's 18th season of New Plays by Houstonians. Concert readings of selected pieces will take place Sunday nights at 7 pm, March 7 - April 11, 2010.

Country Playhouse's New Play Reading Series is comprised of six Sunday nights of concert readings of new plays written by Houston-area residents. The readings are rehearsed, and the public is invited. Since 1993, more than 100 new works have been presented in the Series. Of these plays, we know that at least 44 have gone forward with a production, publication, or recognition in a competition.

* MARCH 7: John Kaiser's HYPERION

* MARCH 14: Henry Feldman's THE PICKLE JAR

* APRIL 4: Vanessa Del Fabbro's THE ROAD TO HOME

* APRIL 11: Jeffrey Strausser's THE DECORATOR
