Sunday, April 4:  Family Flicks:  The Pot that Juan Built.

    USA, 2004
    Color
    17 Minutes

Juan Quezada, one of Mexico´s most famous potters, used his creative gifts to transform his impoverished village of laborers into a thriving artists´ community. Based on the narrative style of This Is the House that Jack Built, this film teaches children about Quezada´s life and work through glowing artwork and poetic language.

Narrated by Alfred Molina, with music by Otmaro Ruiz. Includes a live action/iconographic documentary segment, "About Juan Quezada."

This film is part of the Target Free First Sundays: Family Flicks film series. In conjunction with Target Free First Sunday: Pottery All Around.
