Theatre Southwest presents the 5th Annual Readers Theatre,  a one-performance event that highlights, through the medium of Readers Theatre, the work of many of our talented local playwrights. Sunday March 14 at 3:00 pm.

Once a year we ask for 10 minute scripts from all over the country to be presented for the first time ever as Readers Theatre. We are pleased to announce our current offering, produced by Ananka Kohnitz; assisted by Stacy Spaeth.

This year we chose the best of over 250 submissions. A select few will be presented to you on a Sunday afternoon in a Readers Theatre format. If you have never been to a readers theatre performance you need to give it a try. The plays are read by talented Houston actors and are sure to entertain.

AND, you don't just watch, you get to participate! At the end of the performances you will be asked to vote for your favorite and the author will be awarded $100.

We received scripts from all over the country for this event. don't miss your chance to be the first to hear a new work for the very first time.
