The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston presents MFAH Gallery Conversations: A Toast to Art and Wine Through Italy, Saturday, April 10, at 2:30pm. Presented by Laura Widing, Director of the Wine Show, at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Meet outside the Prendergast in Italy exhibition  (lower level of the Beck Building, across from Café Express).

Join Laura Widing, Director of the Wine Show at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, as she leads us on a tour of wines through the exhibition, Prendergast in Italy. This exhibition features paintings by American artist Maurice Prendergast, who traveled and painted the various regions of Italy—Venice, Rome, Siena and Capri, in particular. In the spirit of Prendergast´s paintings, Ms. Widing will discuss Italian wines by region. A tasting will follow.

Gallery Conversations are open to the public and free with general museum admission. Museum members always receive free admission. Campstools and audio guide headsets will also be provided.
