Rice University's Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts is pleased to announce the opening of its annual student art exhibition, "TEAM ART!" 2010 Annual Student Art Exhibition! 

On April 22, the events begin at 6:00 p.m. with the undergraduate art exhibition, films by Rice filmmaking students and an awards ceremony giving away over $25,000 dollars in awards, scholarships, and travel fellowships in the Rice Media Center. Immediately following there will be a unique collaboration between the School of Engineering and the School of Humanities in the form of a presentation of interactive digital work by double-major Andrew Zukoski at the Brochstein Pavilion. The senior art exhibition will begin at 9:00 p.m. on the fourth floor of Sewall Hall. Finally, the evening ends with a unique exhibition at the new Matchbox Gallery, presenting an installation and performance by University of Houston art students -- a cross-pollination between these two institutions.

The works in the senior exhibition will be documented in the 2nd Annual Senior Catalogue, distributed in the April 16th edition of the Rice Thresher, and available for free at the exhibition. The undergraduate and senior art exhibitions will be on view April 22-May 17.

The events are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served on opening night.
