Houston Railroad Museum looks forward to welcoming you to the Big Texas Train Show at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Saturday and Sunday, October 16-17, 2010. The show will feature more than 100,000 square feet of fun and educational railroad-related displays and vendors, along with door prizes and other surprises.

What to look for at the show:

Operating Model Railroads
Trains will be running at Houston Railroad Museum's Big Texas Train Show! Local model railroad clubs will be operating in all scales, all day, both days. See everything, from tiny Z scale to big Garden size trains.

Museum and Club Displays
Did you know there are multiple railroad and railroad-related museums in the Houston-Galveston area? In addition, there are about 20 model railroad clubs in the community. Come and learn about Houston's railroading heritage and model railroading, the world's greatest hobby, at Houston Railroad Museum's Big Texas Train Show.

Model Railroad and Railroadiana Vendors
