    Three Rabbis Respond to 'Encountering the Jewish Future'

    The Rothko Chapel is delighted to bring a distinguished roster of outstanding intellectuals, poets, musicians, and journalists to speak and perform during its 2009-2010 season of public programs. All programs are free and open to the public. The Rothko Chapel presents Three Rabbis Respond to "Encountering the Jewish Future,"  Thursday, May 13, 7PM.

    The Rothko Chapel is delighted to bring a distinguished roster of outstanding intellectuals, poets, musicians, and journalists to speak and perform during its 2009-2010 season of public programs. All programs are free and open to the public. The Rothko Chapel presents Three Rabbis Respond to "Encountering the Jewish Future,"  Thursday, May 13, 7PM.

    This discussion about theology will be a response to the presentation titled "Encountering the Jewish Future" given by Marc Ellis at the Chapel on April 29. Rabbis Barry Gelman (pictured),  Steve Morgen, and Roy A. Walter, representing the Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform traditions of Judaism, will participate.

    The program will be moderated by Gregory Kaplan, the Anna Smith Fine Assistant Professor of Jewish Studies at Rice University.
