May 1  – Beyond the Pale We hope you will join us for our final concert of the season on Saturday, May 1st featuring a diverse mix of styles from the Dallas-based band Beyond the Pale!

Beyond The Pales' eclectic & diverse mix of traditional Celtic, Americana & contemporary styles is the key to their popularity. They have developed their unique sound by blending their original songs & compositions with an array of traditional dance tunes & folk songs from Ireland, America, Scotland & Europe -- using a wide range of instruments including fiddle, flute, accordion, guitar, hammered dulcimer, tin whistle, saxophone, harmonica, concertina, clarinet, mandolin, bodhran, percussion, & of course great vocals! Whew!

Beyond The Pale are regularly-featured performers at some of the largest music festivals in the USA including The North Texas Irish Festival & The Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games. They have appeared live on NPR’s “The Glenn Mitchell Show” & “No Cover” and on RTE, Ireland “Live From Milltown”. They have performed extensively throughout the USA & Europe.

Beyond the Pale’s popular recordings include their new CD, Paleontology (2010), The Music Plays Me (2006), Queen of Skye, (2004) Strange Turns (2002) Angel On The 7th Stair (1999) and Life Is All Chequered (1997).

Come celebrate the end of the UniTunes season with a great Texas band who will serve up their own unique brand of Celtic and beyond!
