    New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts (www.ShenYunPerformingArts.org ), the world’s premier classical Chinese dance and music company will present its all new 2010 programs, a gloriously colorful and exhilarating performance at Wortham Theater July 2-3, 2010. Shen Yun's rich repertory is drawn from the pages of history, universal themes, and the world around us. Nearly 20 original dance and songs - new every year - will immerse you in a world of extraordinary beauty, valor and splendor. The show is conducted in both Chinese and English.

    In 2009 season alone, Shen Yun presented over 300 performances in 20+ countries, 100+ cities. In 2010, nearly 100 world-class artists, including a live orchestra will return to Houston to offer another unforgettable SHEN YUN experience.

    Portraying ancient legends and modern tales of courage, compassion, and grace through exhilarating and uplifting music and dance performances, Shen Yun has delighted audiences over 100 cities across five continents. Over 800,000 live audience members have witnessed the incredible talents of more than 100 gifted Shen Yun dancers and musicians.

    Inspired by the rich of an ancient culture, Shen Yun Performing Arts brings to life classical Chinese dance and music in a gloriously colorful and exhilarating show. Dozens of dancers in dazzling costumes move in seamless, flowing patterns. Thunderous drums shake the stage, while spectacular backdrops take you to another world. State-of-the-art backdrops conjure celestial palaces and pastoral vistas, while groundbreaking music combines the best of Chinese and Western composition. The breathtaking beauty of Shen Yun is not to be missed.
