The Menil Collection and the Core Program at the Glassell School, along with Independent Curators International present a free public program with renowned curator Bisi Silva, (pictured), in a lecture entitled Contemporary Art and Shifting Curatorial Practices.  Monday, May 10, at 8pm at The Menil Collection.

Founder and director of the Center for Contemporary Art in Lagos, Nigeria, Ms. Silva will discuss the growing impact of transnational practice and the emergence of dynamic new forms of exhibition-making. Ms. Silva will present her own research into artists as well as her perspectives on curatorial networks and collaborative institutional models around the world.
