Society for the Performing Arts (SPA), bringing the world’s best to Houston, presents Ritmo Latino, featuring Pablo Ziegler’s Quintet for New Tango, Friday, May 14 at 8pm at Miller Outdoor Theatre. With Special Guest Vocalist Claudia Acuña. ?Ritmo Latino! Featuring the GRAMMY award winning Pablo Ziegler Quintet for New Tango, joined by special guest Claudia Acuña combines the sultry tango rhythms with the energetic spontaneity of jazz. Join us for the most successful blend of modern jazz and tango you’ll ever hear.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a protégé of Astor Piazzolla, Latin Grammy-winning pianist Pablo Ziegler returns to Houston for a concert that artfully blends classic tango rhythms with jazz improvisations. Joining Ziegler on stage will be Chilean vocalist Claudia Acuña, a rising star possessing “the voice of an angel,” according to Newsday. Also, performing is: Pedro Giraudo (double bass), Héctor del Curto (bandoneon), Franco Pinna (drums) and Claudio Ragazzi (guitar).

This is a FREE event for the community.

Tickets to Seated Area
While performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are FREE of charge, some require tickets for the covered seating area. Tickets are available at the Miller Theatre Box Office on a first-come basis between 10:30am-1pm on the day of the performance. Please, only four (4) tickets per person. Remaining tickets are given out one hour before curtain.

Under normal circumstances, all unoccupied/unclaimed seats are released 5 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin. We encourage all patrons to be in their assigned seats at least 10 minutes before showtime to insure that their seat is not released. Again, there is NO charge for tickets. PLEASE NOTE: At managements's discretion, all unoccupied seats may be released at any time for any reason.

Hillside Area
No tickets are required for seating on the hillside. Blankets and lawnchairs are welcome. No glass containers of any kind are allowed.
