The Our Image Film and Arts Festival presents its Monthly Screening Series, this month featuring a first time Houston screening of Medicine for Melancholy.
Medicine for Melancholy Film Synopsis:
A night they barely remember becomes a day they'll never forget... Wyatt Cenac (of The Daily Show) and Tracey Heggins star in this love story about a one-night stand, and the revealing day-after they decide to spend together in rapidly gentrifying San Francisco.
In his internationally acclaimed and award-winning debut feature, writer/director Barry Jenkins creates an honest and resonant tale of sex, ethnicity, bicycles, and modern urban life.
