    The Greater Houston Partnership presents the Thought Leader Series: John Hofmeister, Monday, June 14, 10am-12noon.  Topic:  Securing Houston’s Energy Future.

    Join the Greater Houston Partnership as we host John Hofmeister (pictured), Founder and CEO, Citizens for Affordable Energy, Inc. Mr. Hofmeister will present his new book, Why We Hate the Oil Companies: Straight Talk from an Energy Insider. Mr. Hofmeister will also address the recent developments with the oil spill in the Gulf and how to put the nation on the right course to deliver energy security and environmental protection. Energy and politics are like oil and water, and Mr. Hofmeister will tell us how to fix it!

    The Thought Leader Series provides GHP Members an opportunity to listen and interact with innovative industry experts. The speakers in this series relay vital messages to GHP and the Houston business community. The Houston region is known as a center of excellence and influence on many issues, making it a great place for leaders to assemble and share their thoughts.

    John Hofmeister will also be speaking and signing books Wednesday, June 16 at Brazos Bookstore.

    Parking: Hyatt Regency Houston offers several parking options for our guests' convenience:

    Overnight Valet Parking: $22.73 per night. Includes taxes and in/out privileges

    Self-Parking: $16.00 per day. This is a city-owned parking lot next door to the hotel. No in/out privileges.

    Limited parking for eight vans, maximum, is available in the hotel valet parking. All other vans, as well as motor homes and vehicles over 9' should park in the self-parking lot.
