Writers in the Schools, HPL Express and Discovery Green team up to offer the Young Writer's Workshops, Houston’s only free open writing workshop for kids.

Come to Discovery Green every Saturday in July from 10:30 am - 11:30 am, inside the HPL Express Library, where WITS writers explore the joys of expressive arts using imaginative writing exercies and craft activities. WITS will provide all necessary writing materials.

This FREE program is recommended for grades 2-12 and continues throughout the summer. No registration is required, and walk-ins are welcome.
