The Our Image Film and Arts Monthly Screening Series, this month features a screening of Larry Adelman’s documentary, Race: The Power of an Illusion.

Film Synopsis: Recent scientific evidence suggests that the idea of race is a biological myth. Race: The Power of an Illusion questions the very idea of race as biology. This documentary asks, “What is this thing called 'race'?” Modern science is finding that skin color really is only skin deep. Yet race still matters.………………….. Ethnic cleansing, affirmative action, immigration, poverty, education, crime, music, sports, etc. - all place race at center stage in contemporary life.
