Pearland Parks & Recreation presents the Pearland July 4th Celebration of Freedom.

Join us in celebrating our country's independence! Come out for Pearland's annual Celebration of Freedom on Sunday, July 4 at the Pearland High School Football Stadium, 3775 South Main Street. Gates for the FREE event open at 6:30.

A military salute will begin the evening's entertainment at 7pm, followed by the winner of our Let Freedom Sing talent search singing the National Anthem. Then, sit back and listen to one of Texas' newest music stars - Zona Jones (pictured)! At sundown enjoy a fabulous fireworks display from your seat inside the stadium. Food for purchase, face painters and other activities will be on-hand for your enjoyment. A carnival will be open all weekend long starting at noon Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased for the carnival rides onsite.

Parking for the event on Sunday evening is available at the high school and at Bailey Road Campus with shuttles available for free. For more information call 281-652-1673 or log onto www.pearlandparks.com.
