The Improv Comedy Showcase and Restaurant presents Derrick Keener and Friends. 

Derrick Keener has been ripping stages apart across the south for the last few years with his unique and witty style of comedy!!! With his dead on impersinations of such people as Joel Osteen, The Crocodile Hunter, and Bernie Mac, Derrick captivates and wows the audience like never before. People who saw him during his raw and uncut days say that he is even better now that he has changed his language to fit everyone!!!

Derrick will be bringing his gift to the Houston Improv on June 27th, but this time he won't be alone. He's bringing a slew of friends who vow to make sure that you leave wanting more. Along with the comedic stylings of comedy veterans Charles G and Dave Lawson (3time comic view all-star) Derrick is bringing the most prolific wordsmith in Houston with him who goes by the name of Se7en The Poet!!!

All these artist want to do is show you how to "Slow It Down For Jesus." Being that the show is in Houston it would only be befitting of this great city if they incorporated the urban significance of the June 27th date. Other special invited guests are the members of Good Hope Church and Pastor D.Z. Cofield. He will be closing out the celebration of Building A Legacy of Hope in his 16 year tenure with Good Hope.
