    Theater 42 presents a Theater 42 Original Production: Tuned to a Dead Channel, July 22-24 and July 29-31 at 8 pm. July 24, 25, 31, and August 1 at 2 pm at Midtown Art Center.

    Tuned to a Dead Channel is the story of Andrea, a twenty-something who works as a technical writer for a living. She lives with her two best friends, Core and K, and her serious boyfriend, Dominick, is so often over he might as well be another roommate. The play takes place at a decision point in Andrea's life, both in terms of her job and her relationships with other people.

    Complicating her life further is the re-emergence of Lilith, a part of Andrea's past she's tried to forget.

    This full-length play alternates between scenes in the present, and key scenes from the past concerning Andrea's childhood. Though those events are in the past, they weave together with what's happening in the present to create a siren song that leads Andrea either to her salvation or to her self-destruction.

    Tuned to a Dead Channel is an original play by award-winning poet Andrew Kozma and is directed by Erin Kidwell.
