Winter Street Studios presents Strung Out,  featuring art hung out to buy.

Artists tap into their inner creativity on a daily. On July 24, artists are asking art lovers and collectors to picture a cool backyard in Houston – moved indoors at Winter Street Studios.

“We are leaving the heat and mosquitoes behind and imagining a cool summer's breeze in the comfort of Winter Street Studios," Lindsay Peyton, the event organizer, says. “We will string a clothesline inside and hang some gorgeous drawings and prints on it.”

“Strung Out” will feature original drawings and unframed prints and originals at affordable prices. Participating artists include Ian Anderson, Kelley Devine, Jessica Jacobi, Matt Messinger, Lindsay Peyton, Kevin Peterson, Alfredo Scaroina, Micah Simmons and Anthony Suber.

Open to the public, the show will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 24 in Winter Street Studios, 2101 Winter Street, 2nd floor gallery.

Singer songwriter Sabra Laval will return to Houston to perform at the event.

“We wanted to do something that would be fun, help us forget about Houston's steamy summer, and get people out looking at cool art,” Peyton added.
