FrenetiCore presents  Physical Theatre: Viewpoints, Composition, and Building an Ensemble, Session 1--August 28, 2010, Session 2—August 29, 2010. Location: Frenetic Theater, 5102 Navigation Blvd. Houston TX 77011. In conjunction with the Houston Fringe Festival at Frenetic Theater.

    About the Workshop:
If you played as a child, you understand Viewpoints. This method of theatre-making and ensemble-building is based on vocabulary used in the dance world. No previous theatre training is necessary, only a willingness to let yourself go.

Session I will introduce the concepts and Session II will segue into making theatre and collaborating with an ensemble. Both sessions are recommended.

Session II participants must attend Session I.

    Limit: 12 people.

Brandy Holmes (pictured)  first trained in Viewpoints and Composition at the University of Texas at Austin. Additional training with SITI Company member J.Ed Araiza, in New York with Kim Weild, and at the University of Houston with Jack Young. She taught Viewpoints in Houston this summer and will offer classes this fall.
