CANTARE Houston announces the return of its "walking concerts" through the galleries of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston – the popular concerts which began the collaboration between our two arts organizations so many years ago! Cantare Houston presents Music on a Midsummer's Night: Cantare Sings at the MFAH Galleries, Friday, August 20, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 21, 7:30 p.m.

Please join us for these unique performances pairing the musical excellence of CANTARE's singers with the magnificent artwork of Houston's most treasured museum. Curator Helga Aurisch will lead the audience through the Museum's galleries – providing commentary on the art, culture, history and inspiration for these collected masterpieces – as CANTARE performs choral selections contemporary with the period.
