The Arthritis Foundation will host the 5th Annual Art for Arthritis Gala & Auction, a benefit dinner and art auction on Thursday, October 28, 2010  from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the Hotel InterContinental Houston. The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases.

Art for Arthritis is an annual art benefit and auction, which pays tribute to Houston's rich tapestry of art and the people whose lives have been touched by arthritis. For one special evening, artists and art lovers unite to raise money for those who someday may not have the ability to lift a paintbrush because of the pain of arthritis. For one night in October, our palette is awash with the vibrancy that is Houston's unique art scene. Artists of all mediums, including our featured artist Ray Philips, join forces to help the nearly one million Houstonians suffering from this painful disability

The support of this event enables us to continue funding research and programming, as we search for a cure to help the nearly one million Houstonians affected by this disease.
