Inprint's First Friday Poetry Reading Series presents Mary Margaret Carlisle, November 5, 2010.
Mary Margaret Carlisle is a native Texan, born in Dallas. Mary is an Applied Design and Visual Arts graduate of University of Houston, Clear Lake. Her poetry has appeared in four national poetry anthologies, in Tidelines, an Anthology of Galveston Writers, and in many national and Texas publications. She is married to Leo F. Waltz, and currently lives with him in Webster, Texas.
Inprint is proud to serve as a host for the First Friday Poetry Reading Series. The First Friday Series is the oldest poetry series in Houston and has been held monthly on the first Friday of each month since 1975. The series is coordinated by Robert Clark, who may be e-mailed at houstonfirstfri@aol.com . The featured poet is always followed by and open mike.
