Sunday, April 17, 2011: Things Worth Writing

April is National Poetry Month, and the perfect time to celebrate the spirit of the American Author! Visit the house to view objects that are inspired by or have inspired works of literary merit, then come out to the gardens to enjoy storytelling and poetry performances or to write your own gardens-inspired poem.

Afterwards, come to the giveaway table for a special "word of the day" game card to see if you can solve a literary puzzle. Afterwards, take the trolley over to Rienzi to enjoy more Family Day activities.
