Una buena fusion of ska, pachuco boogie, old school funk and rockabilly with a pinch of punk, Los Skarnales can barely be containedby any stage. Force of nature and band leader Filipe Galvan has the vertical leap of an NBA star, the style of a pachuco kingpin, and the pipes of a classic soul shouter.
Karina Nistal, Houston native with a global sound and following, sets the tone with her pumping electro-Latin freestyle.
September 16 – Cyril Neville & Tribe 13
Cyril Neville is a dynamic, soulful vocalist who delivers the musical tradition of blending multiple musical genres into a uniquely New Orleans party sound. With tenures in the Neville Brothers and The Meters, or as a special guest of Galactic, Cyril always provides a tasty musical offering. In addition to numerous solo albums, Cyril has recorded with Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Dr. John,
and many more classic artists.
