    DiverseWorks and K. Dapree present WE THE PEOPLE: A Celebration of the ARTS & Our Community! Saturday, August 21, 6pm-9pm.

    It’s the Dawn of A New Day as we celebrate Arts in Our Community thru the Spoken Word, Music, Dance, Performance Arts, and Visual Arts. Come and join some of your favorite artist from the Houston, Dallas and Austin community as we present a collaborative and merged ARTS experience that will be both breathtaking and a celebration of WE…because WE are THE PEOPLE.

    DJ LoQi will be taking us on a musical journey as she mixes it up on t...he 1’s and 2’s.

    Saturday, August 21st
    6pm – 9pm, doors open at 6pm, Show starts @ 7pm
    $10 Donation @ the door

    WE THE PEOPLE: A fundraiser to help commission works by queer artist. Funds will help Q-Roc create “the bull – jean stories: a multi media adaptation” based on the works by Sharon Bridforth.

    Half Price Admission to Asteca following this event. Sponsored by Amuse Bouche Ent., heART&SOUL, and Eskay Ent.
