    Rice University Shepherd School of Music presents the 20/21 Contemporary Ensemble, Sunday, October 17, at 2:30pm.

    Scheduled Program:

    Krzysztof Penderecki - Clarinet Quartet (for clarinet, violin, viola, and cello)
    György Ligeti - The Alphabet from Nonsense Madrigals (for chamber choir)
    Arvo Pärt - Solfeggio (for chamber choir)
    John Adams - Scratchband (for amplified chamber ensemble)
    and a piece by Rice sophomore Hilary Purrington commissioned by 20/21 Contemporary Ensemble.

    Performers include students of the Shepherd School.
