STOP, DROP AND ROLL! Children’s Museum of Houston educates families on fire safety and prevention during Fire Prevention Week October 3 – 10.
Did you know that most fires are caused by cooking, heating or electrical equipment? Although fire may be hot and dangerous, it’s definitely cool to know how to prevent one and what to do in case it happens at home! Join the Children's Museum of Houston for some heated activities about important fire safety.
On-Going Activities:
Wear A Firefighter Hat: Make a hat like the firefighters wear when they are on the job.
Carry A Hero Badge: Clip on a hero badge just like the firefighters.
Fire Safety Poster: Hang a poster in your house reminding everyone of the fire safety tips you learned at the Children's Museum of Houston.
Special Events:
Meet and Greet with the Houston Fire Department (HFD): Say hello to our local heroes as the Houston Fire Department and the Juvenile Fire Stoppers swing by with a real fire truck and safety smokehouse in celebration of Fire Prevention Week. Don’t miss a fire safety presentation in the Brown Auditorium!

$8 per person
$7 for seniors 65+Children under one and Museum Members receive free admission.
