Dancepatheatre presents the Soul for Soles Fundraising Party, Saturday, October 23, 2010, 8:00PM - 12:00AM, 117 Stratford, Houston, TX, 77006.

(Warning: this is a very punny article!) Get ready to bare your soles and get down and funky to the best of Soul music from the sixties and seventies at our Soul for Soles Fundraising Party! Yes, you're invited to join us to dance barefoot to Aretha Franklin, James Brown, The Temptations, The Supremes, and all your Motown faves from the era.

We'll start out at 8:00pm with our silent auction, appetizers and cash wine bar, then we'll shed our shoes and boogie down. Come as you are or indulge your playful side by donning retro/vintage sixties or seventies outfits.

When you arrive, drop a pair of useable shoes in our collection box and we'll see that they cover a needy soul's soles!
